Un-LIT

Un-LIT is a mobile-friendly puzzle game, where all you have to do is to Un-LIT everything by clicking on the lights, and you win by leaving ON only the red light.

I hope you enjoy playing this small puzzle game, which is my first on the genre. The HTML version has been tested on both PC and mobile, but please feel free to leave a comment if you come across any issue, overall feedback, or even just to say hi!

Cheers, and keep it Un-LIT! ;)

Update

Thanks to everyone who played the game for the feedback, it was truly heartwarming seeing how you all enjoyed playing it, so I'll start by adding a few more levels for a total of 10(+ the tutorial which won't be counted). However, this won't be added until the jam passed, as modifications are not allowed during the voting period, plus i have to design the levels so that they can be completed and don't feel repetitive.

After that i'll strongly consider continuing the game, but it may take me a while so please be patient, as all i need for that to happen is time ;)

A very nice puzzle game you have here, it's simple to understand and get started, has a lot of freedom in how to complete the puzzles, and still takes me far longer than I'd like to admit to finish.

It was hard to find a balance and for that I knew that I'd need external feedback, for this i have to thank the people over discord that checked the game earlier and gave me some very important feedback.

The original idea was to have the possibility of a game over if by accident you turned off the red light, but this would've felt punishing to the player and would have overcomplicated the design part of the maps (which by the way was tough to figure out patterns that worked without feeling too repetitive).

I'm just glad that you (and everyone else) enjoyed playing the game.

Thank you for your kind words and for checking out Un-LIT! :D

This is a wonderful game that I got hooked into, you did an amazing job keeping it engaging and not too punishing!

Thank you, appreciated! :D
That was the aim with it honestly, for it to be a casual, not punishing puzzle game that you could restart if you felt stuck.
I almost made a mistake adding SFX but in the end i didn't, they would've broken the game flow a little bit.

Thank you, I actually wasn't sure if i'd be able to make it properly. The learning curve for making a good puzzle game can be a bit tough because it's hard as the creator togauge things. If you make it too hard, if it feels punishing to the user or not, the time it takes to complete a level, and so on and so forth... and i basically wanted to do a small, casual puzzle game, that would not feel punishing.

I think I've made the right choices but what helped me the most was asking people on discord (in the jam's channel), and making a early submission where they could test and help me with that. I don't think i could have done that otherwise.

Cheers, and keep it Un-LIT! ;)

I will, I've been a bit slow today but don't worry, i'll try every single game of the people who commented, and then some more :D

Edit: i don't know why but my comment didn't get sent, sorry!
